Running The Race

My mind already crossed the finish line,
It's not as hard at the start.
Perseverance is the key, this journey is mine.
Victory drives the burning desire in my heart.

Like any other runner I don't eat everything,
Your life is a race push yourself.
With a mind of a racer you can achieve anything,
Those who wants to win push themselves.

You might need to rely on your strength at times,
Sometimes the others will push you.
You are not alone though it might feel like it sometimes,
Someone is always watching you.

Your legs will ache and your muscle will burn,
Your lungs will beg for air,
As pain strikes you will learn.
Running is for everyone including the heir.

You have dreams to chase,
As you are running your race,
You have issues to face,
Embrace God's grace.
