Thanking The Enemy

I've learnt to thank God for both opened and closed doors, 

I've learnt that sometimes you get direction through persecution, 

Sometimes you rejoice 'cause you realised the joys of closed doors, 

Sometimes you are glad 'cause sadness led you to a new direction. 

I've learnt to embrace the pain that once drove me insane, 

Life will never be the same once you grasp this notion, 

People that once drove you mad will break every chain, 

This is the direction that will direct your through persecution.  

At times your heart will be broken but you'll be thankful, 

The door will be slammed at your face for a new phase, 

You'll be jumping in front of that door and studied to be grateful, 

You'll be glad they fired you, now you're giving God the highest praise. 

Some blessings come in a curse's disguise, 

Live life joyfully with no regrets 'cause you were born to be a blessing, 

Everything happens for a reason soon you'll be giving advise, 

You have great potential in you, just keep pressing. 

The world is a University and everyone is a teacher, 

Learn from everything and everyone nothing is ever wasted, 

Open your heart to new information that will prepare you for the future, 

Thanking the enemy will teach you that good things need to be tested.
