Never Hold Back

I'm handcrafted for days like this 

I'm exactly where I need to be 

These are the days I'll truly miss 

There are more greater things I'm yet to see. 

The things I touch turn into gold 

My hands are truly blessed 

That's why I wrote I am sold

My goal is to share my very best. 

My third book will be extra awesome 

It will be unique and it will go a long way

Just like a flower it will blossom 

It will change people's lives everyday. 

You must give your very best 

You must never hold back 

That's how you'll standout from the rest

Contagious Joy

Being in total unflappability allows those around us to also have strong personalities, 

Choosing joy over everything else is the best gift we can ever give ourselves and our children.  

I'm content, I'm joyful, life is so wonderful, 

I have beautiful, intelligent and going to be successful girls, 

One may ask how do I know these things? 

Parents have hopes and dreams for their kids and sometimes you can just sense all the greatness amongst them.  

My humble boastings would be;

Both my wife and I were very smart at school, 

We both received high grades while we were in different ends of the earth, 

Why am I telling you this? I'm glad you asked, 

I believe that or children will both have our brains each and more. 

Having kids with a woman I love contributed immensely in my life I think, 

I'm building an empire not just for me but for my family, 

I have joy deep down in my soul, 

I even have more restful nights than when I was growing up.

I just know deep inside me that things are going to be alright and wonderful the more we live.

A Trip to Bendigo

This is so exciting 

I haven't been here in 10 years

Now I'm sitting here writing 

With my family shouting cheers. 

On our way we enjoyed the swing 

Just after we had a lovely lunch 

I still can't believe the stuff we had to bring  

Good music, company and food enjoying every crunch. 

We walked to Bendigo Botanic Gardens 

Nala and Zara had a great time 

We're taking fun to the next margins

Writing, singing and reciting good rhymes.

What a wonderful year it has been, 

Bookings from left and right I've never seen, 

I can see that people in Australia are very keen,  

To hear meaningful rhymes that are very clean.

I'm really enjoying this 'cause for so many years I've waited,  

Some poems I wrote in school are now celebrated.

It's my gift, it's where I can share a side of a better me, 

I can go down deep to my roots just like a tree,  

And lie my heart on the table for people to see.

I write these words without having a blink,

'Cause there are chains in your mind that needs to be broken.

Back on the Road

When you drive a car on a footpath, 

You're going to damage it, 

It's not supposed to be there, 

You've taken it where it shouldn't go. 

The problem isn't that the bumper is busted, 

The problem isn't that it's licking oil, 

The problem isn't that it can't start anymore, 

The problem is that the car is in a wrong place at a wrong time.  

What needs to happen is for the car to be back on the road, 

'Cause if you fix it on the footpath it will break again,

Move to where cars are supposed to be, 

Drive your car on the road not on the footpath. 

People often wonder why things don't work out in their lives, 

They try very hard to fix them but they still don't workout,

It's not your life that is the problem but where you're living it, 

Your friends, your job and everyone you share your life with; make sure that they are right for you.

Automatic Keys

It occurred to me this morning, 

As I was driving the Toyota Prius, 

The car opened itself as I approached it, 

Then I drove off with the keys still in my pocket. 

Some keys are not meant to be used, 

You just have to have them in your pocket, 

Sometimes you don't have to use your talent to prove yourself, 

People who know you will talk to the right people. 

Your gift will make room for you, 

You'll start getting phone calls from strangers, 

Giving high end contracts to sign, 

You'll get emails asking you if you would like to do your dream job. 

All you have to do is to drive off with your dream, 

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, 

Life is too short, you only live once, 

Enjoy each and every second of it. 

Comfort Zone

As human beings we love comfort,

We love to be somewhere safe, 

We love the coziness, warmth and relaxation, 

Our life's reflection and imagination shapes the way we want to live in the future. 

While there's nothing wrong with comfort, 

There's something wrong with comfort zones, 

Take a look at the life of an eagle,

The eagle stirs the nest for the eaglet to fly. 

It is through discomfort that the eaglet does something amazing for the first time. Flying. 

If we move from our comfort zones we begin to do amazing things, 

We become best selling authors, have our own record labels, open our law firms, become specialised doctors, have our own radio and TV shows or even win Grammy Awards. 

The key is in moving from your comfort zone, 

Take a stand and seek to understand where you don't understand, 

Associate yourselves with other visionaries, 

Then you'll learn how to fly into that infinite sky just like an eagle.

To the most beautiful mom who gave birth to me, 

To the woman who modelled beauty for me to see, 

To the woman who taught me how to be a better man, 

To the woman who helped me come up with a greater life plan.

To the women who's hearts are now filled with maybes,

You're a mom and God will make a way for you too, 

The blessings are plenty on the other side coming your way too.

Everything I ever wanted is right in front of me,
Things I`ll be and things I`ll see,
When I fall on my knee then I'll be free,
I'll speak to God and plea.

Help me be the best man I can be,
Give me a brighter life just like that tree,
I'm ready to open doors just give me the key,
I know you'll be with me when I cross the red sea.

I know you are one and yet three,
You helped me win a spelling bee,
You gave me a meaningful degree,
You and I will always agree.

How can I ever stop being like a busy bee?
Things are happening that I declare and decree,
Writing for me is easy like 123,

My Heart Burns

Love is like a candle that burns, 

It burns to initiate the spark in your heart, 

Once the spark is there it becomes a fire that will take turns, 

Incase mine fades away I've got yours to restart. 

The wax goes down and the flame goes up, 

You don't have to be a physicist to understand this, 

Gravity keeps the flame up, 

It pulls both the candle and air without a miss. 

The way a candle unfolds, 

The air is cooler and denser, it puts pressure on the lighter flame, 

That's the way it's displaced, 

So is you and I our love holds. 

I've spent so many years asking what I've done to deserve your love, 

I've come to a conclusion that some things are never meant to be understood, 

I'm now flying with peace like that peaceful dove above, 

I'm counting my blessings and I'm only dwelling on the days that are good. 

I don't have to get it, I just have to enjoy it, 

Time is passing by while we are too busy trying to reason, 

And for this very same reason, 

You don't have to get this poem just enjoy it.

Tune your inner ear to hear the things that the Lord is telling you. 

Sometimes God will use ordinary people to give you an extra ordinary message. 

He will use other issues in your life or other people's lives to help you with different areas of your life. 

You have to have discernment to know when it's Him talking through ordinary people to give you an extraordinary message. 

He uses natural things or people to deliver supernatural miracles.

Get Out and Fly

When the eagle builds its nest

It makes sure that it's tight and strong 

It put an effort to make sure it's the best 

Protecting the eaglet is at its best interest no matter how long. 

Once the eaglet is ready to fly 

The eagle dismantles the nest 

It doesn't matter if the eaglet will cry  

That nest is no longer for an eaglet to rest. 

If the eaglet won't get out, the eagle dismantles the nest

The eagle grabs the eaglet if it doesn't get out 

It wants to see the eaglet flying at it best

The eagle knows the eaglet can fly no doubt. 

As the eagle fly 

Spread your wings and soar into the air

As you're flying up so high

Turbulence will be there. 

Endure the challenge and enjoy the breeze, 

You're able to fly so high like an eagle 

Soon enough you'll be flying with ease

Trust the wings you're given like an eagle.
