When All Means Nothing

You can have all the knowledge in the world, but it means nothing without building up the confidence to do something with it. You can have all the money in the world but it means nothing if you can't spend it wisely.

Daddy's Little Princess

She jumps from her mom to my arms,
My love for her and her love for me burns,
She gets excited when I bath her every night,
Her cuteness and honesty inspires me to write,
She's surely an angel sent from above,
She gives me hugs with a messages of love.

Worship

So what exactly is worship?
Everyone can describe it differently,
But for me it's simply just sonship, identity, doing things intentionally.

It's like a song I play with my daughter on my chest,
Like the wobbliness of her body when she's sleeping in my arms,
At that moment she surely thinks, I'm the best,
That trust in her floppy arms and body as she turns.

That's how we feel like in true worship, an exchange of open hearts,
When we honor with extravagant love and extreme submission,
Worshipping Him in different forms of art with everyone playing their parts,
We can worship anywhere and everywhere - He's given us permission.

It's when it has become a lifestyle, not just ticking off a to do list,
Going to His presence with hearts that are hungry for more,
Inviting everybody and waiting for them to see through their mist,
Standing up or lying on the floor, declaring that Jesus Christ is the door.

Pure love with no hidden agenda,
Simple yet meaningful way of loving God and one another,
Pouring our hearts out and shouting our songs in total surrender,
Enjoying the journey with a brother, sister, mother and our Father.

Stronger

What doesn't kill you make you stronger. It might hurt but you'll last longer.

She Loves Me

She waits for me by the door with a smile,
Her mum tells me, she's been there for a while,
Every breath I take is for her, it's a lifestyle,

Loving her is like when breath and body reconcile,
Over the years I've waited for this beautiful girl and it was worthwhile,
Very gently I picked her up and became a writer who's versatile,
Every moment we share can sustain us more than a mile,
She's the best thing ever, I pray to live 'till I walk her down the aisle,

Many great memories we've created, she has changed my profile,
Everyday with her starts and end with a smile.

Think Ahead

There's something similar between music and a pool table game. They both require you to think ahead. In music you don't think about the note that you're singing/the chord that you're already playing but the next one. In a pool table you don't even think about the ball you're about to hit but where the white ball should go to hit the next one. A student doctor needs to think about specialising before graduating. If you're a lawyer that's working for the state, thoughts of opening your law firm should have started while you're getting your law degree. A successful musician thinks about the next album while s/he's doing the previous one. A successful author gets ideas for the next book while doing chapter one of the previous one. Now that's how you move to the next level. ✌️

Roots and Wings

Great parents make children understand their roots,
They also give them wings to fly,
They give them seeds and help them grow them into fruits,
They give them lots of love before they say goodbye.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day
Overall her Mother's Day starts today
Time is short, Sunday seems faraway
Hey by the way this is our best day
Everything's perfect, laughs and play
Realising how much I want to say
Seriously we're here to stay.

Day after day our lives are a screenplay
Anyway I wake up each day and pray
You and I will be together until we turn grey.

Happy Mother's Day

Could/Should/Would Have

The most richest places in the world are cemeteries,
Full of amazing dreams people didn't achieve,
Books that could have filled up libraries,
Songs that should have made faithless people believe.

Wisdom that was never shared,
Careers that would have brought change,
Some of them never really cared,
Some didn't even have an opportunity to arrange.

A husband who never treated his wife right,
A wife who left home angry before the accident,
Relationships are not built over night,
It's all results of poor management.

Now this is a message to you all,
Do the best you can before you fall.

I've Met a Great Dad

Who kept no record of wrong,
Who spent time with me with a song,
Who cooked and prayed for me,
Who taught me great things we see.

I've Met a Great Dad
Who taught my first how to blow a candle,
Who taught me important things to handle,
Who always encouraged me to be the best,
Who motivated me to pass every test.

I've Met a Great Dad
Who pointed out what's worth fighting for,
Who showed me greater life like never before,
Who couldn't stand to see me sad,
But most importantly who taught me to be a better dad.
