We are all running a common race,
Trying to make sense of this place,
Always keeping a happy face,
Having endless dreams to chase,

On our way to the Sydney conference,
In our suits dressed with confidence,
Our past journey is our reference,
In the end with our families we will surely dance.

What does it take to stand amongst the system,
Giving all your strength amongst the team,
Going to bed each night with a massive dream,
Waking up in the morning and things are not how they seem.

Is the theme of the day,
I'm writing this poem on a plane on our way,
I can't wait to hear what they will say,
It's just the rules and the regulations we have to obey!
