Use What You Have

There once was a blind man,
He was sitting by the roadside
Begging, though it wasn't his plan,
Many pushed him one side.

Though he couldn't see, he talked,
Though he couldn't see, he spoke,
Though he couldn't see, he walked,
He used what he had not to be broke.

One day the Master came in town,
The blind man started to shout,
He was tired of sitting down,
He had faith to be healed no doubt.

The Master sent his oppressors,
He told them to get a blind man,
They thought they were successors,
But the Master had another plan.

Sometimes people will put you down,
But then they'll have to push you up,
They were his footstool for his crown,
He gained sight and kept his jump.

Use What You Have
