An Attitude of Gratitude

38 years the sick man set in solitude,
He saw his pain in unreal magnitude,
He just had to change his attitude,
Observe what he had with gratitude.

Sometimes you have to even crawl,
Immediately respond to that call,
Climb walls, be careful not to fall,
You have power to go through it all.

Arise, break every link of that chain,
Arise, stop anaesthetising your pain,
That sickness comes from your brain,
Free your mind to let that healing rain.

Pure joy will tranquillise your mind,
Leave the things that are behind,
Press towards where you're assigned
Your life with destiny will be aligned.

Rise, take up your bed and walk,
Open that door, there's a knock,
Build locally thinking globally, talk
There are million things you'll unlock.

An Attitude of Gratitude
