Beyond Valentine's Day

Love should be embraced daily, 

But things have changed lately, 

Roses will always be red, violets will always be blue, 

What's the point in writing what we already knew? 

There's nothing wrong with romance being in the air,

Just as long as we daily love each other and truly care,

Chocolate hearts, roses, and greeting cards are everywhere,

Love is beyond what we can find in one day anywhere. 

Love is something that we must show every single day of our lives, 

Celebrating it with our loved ones including all the husbands and wives, 

Love is first a commandment not a choice and with it we choose to live, 

When love is in your house there's so much joy and you come alive. 

Love is in the way your partner says "I love you" and the way they hold your hand, 

The way they say your name and look at you and the way they understand, 

The twinkle in their eyes when they look at you, 

The warmth in their hands when they hold you. 

The way they amaze and surprise you all day long, 

The warmness of their hands sends a shock straight to your feet as they sing you a song, 

When they love you unconditionally and always put you above, 

Now that's the meaning of true love.
