Missed Call

The street was filled with people,

Too busy to even notice a steeple,
Their rushing minds made them blind,
Blown by wind, their selves they couldn't find.

Going everywhere but nowhere,
Thinking they'll find themselves elsewhere,
Walking in darkness when there is light,
Choosing wrong when there is right.

Too much noise blocks your ears,
Then you can't hold your tears 'cause of your fears,
It becomes much harder to make a wise choice,
If your ears can't hear a small voice.

Train your inner ear to hear important things,
Don't miss your call when your phone rings,
You see in this world everybody has a telephone,
But our directions are not coming from a microphone.

The messages are coming from different sources,
Our lifestyle is shaped by different voices,
Too much information with no valuable content,
We received a self delivered message to make sure it was sent.

Missed Call
