We can choose everyone else in life but family,
Our family is the proverbial egg that we were hatched from.
Our nature and nurture comes from our family.
Family is very important to everyone 'cause it's where you're from.
Just as we have four seasons in a year,
Families go through seasons they hardly bear.
As we grow older we face difficult situations and sometimes do not share,
You may feel like an oasis in a desert at times, well your family still care.
In my culture every adult have a right to speak life in your life,
It takes a village to raise a child.
It doesn't matter if there are sometimes conflicts and strife,
As long as you ultimately shook hands and smiled.
In times of crises and hardship family stay close together,
Stay stronger and help each other out and endure what are sometimes the frigid winds of change.
Blood is thicker than water and always warm regardless of the weather.
In straights and crooked paths there's always that interchange.
Let's face it sometimes families fight and some even talk about cutting blood,
There's nothing like that you are tied together forever.
You can't change your family they are your blood.
Every situation you are facing is for you and your family to endeavour.
Your family is your root for you to understand your present and future.
