African Wings

Africa sings,

Africa flies with mighty wings, 

Africa dances, 

Africa rises throughout the circumstances, 

You haven't seen a dance if you haven't seen an African dance, 

You haven't heard a song if you haven't heard an African song, 

You have missed the heart of our art if you've missed that chance, 

Welcome to our land where everything is naturally strong, 

Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about man made problems like poverty, 

Africa on its own is a home, you can keep your property, 

Through the soil of our land, I feel the souls of our people, 

Africa is a place where people are welcomed in every table, 

Afica sings, 

Africa flies with mighty wings, 

Africa dances, 

Africa rises throughout the circumstances,

You haven't seen praise and worship until you go to Africa, 

You haven't seen miracles if your feet haven't kissed our land, 

We move instinctively to raise the bar and shout Africa, 

The Holy Spirit already came down and grabbed Africa by her hand, 

Mother Africa carries comfort for her sons and daughters, 

In light and in darkness you'll hear the sound of joyful laughter, 

Africa teaches you to stand, even when you don't understand, 

Africa teaches you to forgive and love people in your land. 

Afica sings, 

Africa flies with mighty wings, 

Africa dances, 

Africa rises throughout the circumstances.
