It is an Animal

It is red or grey-blue in colour, 
Red ones also have black and white,
It has large powerful hind legs, 
It has long muscular tail for balance,  
It does have a small head, 
It is an unofficial symbol of Australia, 
What is it? 
A kangaroo.
