Worship

So what exactly is worship?
Everyone can describe it differently,
But for me it's simply just sonship, identity, doing things intentionally.

It's like a song I play with my daughter on my chest,
Like the wobbliness of her body when she's sleeping in my arms,
At that moment she surely thinks, I'm the best,
That trust in her floppy arms and body as she turns.

That's how we feel like in true worship, an exchange of open hearts,
When we honor with extravagant love and extreme submission,
Worshipping Him in different forms of art with everyone playing their parts,
We can worship anywhere and everywhere - He's given us permission.

It's when it has become a lifestyle, not just ticking off a to do list,
Going to His presence with hearts that are hungry for more,
Inviting everybody and waiting for them to see through their mist,
Standing up or lying on the floor, declaring that Jesus Christ is the door.

Pure love with no hidden agenda,
Simple yet meaningful way of loving God and one another,
Pouring our hearts out and shouting our songs in total surrender,
Enjoying the journey with a brother, sister, mother and our Father.
