In life we grow up wanting to succeed, 

We want a family, a home, job and all the other things we need, 

Then we try to place them in order that we prefer, 

If it doesn't happen that way we think that life is not fair.

I remember the debates I had with my mates ages ago, 

Telling them about the places I want to visit and to know, 

They had different opinions on how things should be, 

That's alright as long as we are all happy and free.

I'm happy with how things turned out in my life, 

I travelled the world then I married my wife, 

We travelled together, had kids and travelled some more, 

Then we bought a house to enjoy now that it all of us four.

God made sure it happened that way, 

As human beings we are limited in what we can do or say, 

But the author and finisher of our faith is not, 

That's why He made sure we loved and purchased what we bought.
