While the ground feeds the grass,
The grass is feeding the ground,
There's a lot to learn from this class.
When this circle is broken,
When the rain clouds gather,
The rain falls down unspoken,
It's a beginning of a new chapter.
When you feed what's feeding you,
When you're thankful for your gifts,
When the foot was in another shoe,
Doing the right thing makes things shift.
Even the fig tree once was killed,
Not producing necessary fruits,
Give whatever you're skilled,
It's kept right down your roots.
You don't just feed the baby after it's born,
Underfunding and over expecting,
From the inside there's a lot to learn,
It's less about collecting and more about connecting.
The Grass Feeds the Ground
