Each and every step you take will take you closer to your vision.
Hi, I'm Percy. I'm a South African poet, musician, author and Worship Pastor, who lives in Melbourne, Australia, with my wife and two daughters. I have published two poetry books - I Am Sold (2012) and Wings Of An Eagle (2016). You can get a copy from my website - www.percyspoems.com. I use poetry to encourage people and help them find hope in adversities. My faith and my family have provided much inspiration for my poems. I love hearing from my readers, so contact me and say hi! Changes in our Lives
Nala is now too big for her cot,
So we've put the big one in its spot,
Some activities after tying the knot,
Four cots, who would have thought?
She loves it when we laugh and play,
She has a beautiful smile every day,
She is full of joy and has a lot to say,
From her mother's womb I taught her to pray.
We want to see her living happily,
We don't want her to live a fantasy,
We want her to always face reality,
She is part of a happy family.

No More Visa Dramas
No more driving up and down,
No more waiting in long cues,
Driving to Pretoria and other towns,
Arriving home with terrible news.
No more waiting for phone calls,
No more hiring immigration lawyers,
Watching another visa slowly falls,
Stopping for tests at the doctors.
No more loosing test's packages,
No more folders and sleepless nights,
Printing long facebook messages,
Reprinting photos, looking for flights.
Permanent resident, the wait is over,
No more visa tears from my wife,
We are eating an Australian pavlova,
This is a beginning of a greater life.

Shozi Pose
This is how the story goes,
Nala is wearing clothes that daddy chose,
Cuteness with tiny fingers and tiny toes,
Beautiful face, eyes, mouth and tiny nose.

Enjoy it
There’s a reason “now” is called the “present”. It’s a gift. Take it. Use it.
Enjoy it.
