I'm in it for love
I'm in it for love and I mean it
Every minute I see the gist of the notion in it
I've stripped the lean inserted in it
And find the fact in between it
It is for sentimental reasons why I say
I'm in it for love
Nobody owes me anything
Yet I expect everything in anything that I see
Nobody owes me an explanation
Yet I want everything to be thoroughly explained
Nobody owes me any love
'Cause the love I received on that cross was and still is sufficient
Sometimes we ask too much from our creator
Sometimes we expect too much from Him
Sometimes we ask for things that won't even make us happy
Happiness is not having what you want but wanting what you have
And sometimes we are unhappy 'cause we don't realise the blessings upon us
We sometimes think that God owes us something for putting us on planet earth
We sometimes pray and expect Him to show up the way we want Him to
We sometimes get angry at Him for having problems with our families
We expect Him to be the answer to all our problems
And by so doing we get angry at Him when we lose our beloved ones
Our hearts get bitter and we stop to glitter and start living in the darkness
Our anger 'cause too much danger and leave us with the absence of light
I followed Christ with no expectations and I expect no explanations from Him
Simply because He doesn't owe me any explanations from any situation that I face
Who am I to question Him for the things I can't reverse nor transform
I reject and eject to be conformed if it means I will have to divorce my happiness
I'm in it for love and I mean it every minute I see the gist of the notion in it
I followed Him because He saw the necessity for Him to dye on that cross
He did it just for me and He didn't have to do it but He did it anyway
What more can be valued more than that in this life that we live
What more can we live for and expect that is way better than that
Expecting God to bless me would be an understatement
'Cause He blessed me with His life and there is so much love in that
This poem has so much in it about Him that it is infinite
But this poem shall now stop for the sake of your expectations
You surely expect it to finish I know but this poem is very long
It can not be very short 'cause there would be lots of understatements
There would be lots of text and context missing
This poem shall live forever 'cause Christ loves us forever
This poem is written by you and I
This poem is meant to preach teach and sing a song
A song that you love so much the song like
Yes Jesus loves me for the bible tells me so
That all I need to know that He loves me no matter what
This poem will never stop and so is His love
This poem shall break the loopholes in your heart
This poem is kind to the kinds and making sense in their minds
And this poem shall continue in your mind
I'm in it for love and I mean it
Every minute I see the gist of the notion in it
I've stripped the lean inserted in it
And find the fact in between it
It is for sentimental reasons why I say
